Meet Dr.Dayana Pereira Lopez (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)

Dayana Pereira, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science from Florida International University. She is fluent in English and Spanish and can also perform comprehensive eye exams in Portuguese.

Dr. Pereira is a compassionate and detail-oriented optometrist dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision and maintain lifelong eye health. She has advanced training in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and dry eye.

Before joining AEG Vision, Dr. Pereira served as the sole optometrist in a medical-surgical practice, where she provided pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing cataract and refractive surgeries. She is also skilled in fitting specialty contact lenses and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

What Dr. Pereira enjoys most about being an optometrist is the opportunity to educate patients about their eyes and empower them with the knowledge to protect their vision. She finds it deeply rewarding when patients leave her office with a clearer understanding of their eye health and feel confident in their care.

Outside of work, Dr. Pereira enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring new places.
