Meet Dr.Nina Pakzad (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)

Nina Pakzad, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami in 2014. With four years of experience in practice, Dr. Pakzad has a special interest in dry eye management.

She became an optometrist because, as a child who needed glasses and contacts, she experienced firsthand how clear vision can greatly enhance one’s quality of life. This inspired her to help others in the same way while enjoying the unique opportunity to study the body’s anatomy and detect signs of disease through the eyes.

Dr. Pakzad enjoys being an optometrist because it allows her to make a meaningful impact on her patients’ lives. She also appreciates the continual advancements in technology that help improve vision and eye health. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, fitness, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Pakzad is fluent in Farsi and intermediate Spanish.
